Ibiza, Balearic Islands

Island in the Mediterranean Sea north of Formentera, belonging to the Autonomous Community of the Balearic Islands. Its area amounts to 572 km² and has a population of around 130,000 inhabitants, the length of shoreline covers 210 km and in general the island of Ibiza has an irregular shape with several mountains of which Sa Talaia, located in San Jose is the highest with 475 meters altitude.

Cala d'Hort and Cala Vadella in San Antonio and many more which can be found throughout the island of Ibiza.

The island is internationally renowned for its parties and discos, attracting each summer a large number of visitors.Among the most famous clubs are Space, Pacha, Privilege Ibiza, Amnesia, Café del Mar or Es Paradís.

Another place worth mentioning is the Cathedral of Ibiza, where is preserved the image of the Virgen de las Nieves (Patron Saint of Ibiza) and seat of the Diocese of Ibiza.
