Malaga Airport, which since June 6, 2011 officially is called Malaga Airport-Costa del Sol (IATA code: AGP ICAO code: LEMG) is located in southern Andalusia and was established in 1919 by the French company Lignes Aerienne Latécoère and has continued to operate continuously since then.

Today is it fourth in traffic volume in Spain, third in the Iberian Peninsula and occupies the position 22 in the European Union. In 2007 it obtained the figure of 13,590,537 passengers (10.0001.021 international destinations) with a number of 129,693 operations. The terminals

The airport has three terminals that are connected to each other. South of Malaga airport is situated a small terminal whose purpose is serving passenger charter flights and general aviation.
